Role Overview

As a an AcquireROI Controller, you will be responsible for managing AcquireROI’s financial processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insights to support strategic decisions. Reporting directly to our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our business. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing an accurate view of the company’s financial performance.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Work closely with leadership to develop budgets and financial forecasts, offering insights to drive decision-making.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee and manage accounts payable and receivable processes to maintain positive cash flow.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure all financial practices comply with regulatory standards and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure liquidity and make recommendations for optimizing resources.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and implement efficiencies across accounting and reporting functions.
• Financial Analysis: Provide ad hoc financial analyses to support company initiatives and assist in strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Accounting Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Industry Experience: Experience working for programattic SaaS companies, Job Boards or similar experience a plus.
• CPA or CMA Certification: Preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software: Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to interpret financial data and make recommendations.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail to maintain financial integrity.
• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the leadership team.
• Independent and Organized: Able to manage time and priorities effectively in a role with minimal supervision.
